Valencia Tong is an award-winning writer and consultant who specializes in contemporary art with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region and emerging markets. She is interested in a wide range of media, including drawings, paintings, illustrations, street art, video and media art, design and architecture. Currently, she explores the intersection between art and technology, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, AI and blockchain, as well as the influence of music on art.
Her work has been published in ARTnews, Blouin Artinfo, Art+Auction, Modern Painters, ArtAsiaPacific, Art & Market, The Artling, Art Radar Journal, CoBo Social, Artomity, HK ARTION, TheArtro, Luxglove, Yacht Style, VRScout, Zolima CityMag and the Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia editions of Tatler Asia, among others.
As a published author, she has had speaking engagements at MuseumNext and the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York. Her latest work has been included in an anthology published by Penguin Random House, distributed worldwide at bookstores such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
